Services
Care built around how you move — and where you want to go.
Pain, recovery, and performance are rarely one-size-fits-all. We begin with a focused evaluation and choose the combination of hands-on care, movement, strength, and education that fits your needs. Every service is delivered with individual attention and a clear plan.
Physical Therapy
For pain, injury, post-operative rehabilitation, and movement limitations, we provide focused, one-on-one care designed to get you back to full function.
Physical therapy with your therapist fully present.
At Tyner PT, your therapist works with you throughout your appointment to understand the problem, treat it, and build a clear path forward. No rushed visits. No generic treatment plans.
We treat the person — not just the painful part.
Your first visit begins with understanding your symptoms, goals, lifestyle, and what you need your body to do. We then assess the factors that may be contributing to the problem, including mobility, strength, balance, posture, biomechanics, and functional movement.
Your individualized treatment may include hands-on manual therapy, mobility work, therapeutic exercise, progressive strength training, balance and coordination work, and strategies you can use at home.
Build strength. Move better. Reduce your risk of injury.
Want to improve strength, lose weight, prevent injury, or perform better in everyday life? Tyner PT also provides individualized personal training based on your goals and the demands of your sport, work, and lifestyle.
We focus on functional movement and progressive strength training to help you build a stronger, more capable body for the way you actually live.
Who this is for?
We work with people recovering from surgery or injury, active adults returning to sport, older adults working to maintain strength and independence, and anyone who wants a more personalized approach to movement, fitness, and recovery.
What makes Tyner Physical Therapy different?
One therapist stays with you throughout your visit. Your plan is built around your goals. Exercises are observed and adjusted. Progress is continually reassessed. And you understand not just what you’re doing, but why.
Need to shower before work or heading out?
No problem. Shower and store your belongings at our fully equipped Tribeca facility before getting on with your day.

Manual Therapy & Sports Massage
Targeted hands-on treatment to address mobility restrictions, muscle tension, and painful movement—used as part of an active plan, not as a stand-alone promise.
Hands-on care with a plan beyond the treatment table.
Manual therapy can help reduce sensitivity, improve mobility, and make movement feel more comfortable. At Tyner PT, hands-on treatment is selected for a reason and paired with movement, exercise, or self-management strategies that help you use the change.
What treatment may include:
Soft-tissue techniques
Joint mobilization
Instrument-assisted soft-tissue mobilization when appropriate
Sports massage
Guided mobility
Movement retraining
What to expect
Your therapist will first clarify what you are feeling and how it affects function. We will explain the purpose of the technique, check how your body responds, and connect the treatment to the larger goal—whether that is turning your head comfortably, walking farther, lifting, sleeping, or returning to sport.
Not sure whether manual therapy is right for you?

Movement Assessment & Injury Prevention
A detailed look at mobility, control, strength, and movement patterns to clarify what may be limiting performance or increasing strain.
Understand how you move before small limitations become bigger ones.
Pain can show up in one place even when the contributing limitation is elsewhere. A movement assessment looks at the patterns your body uses across everyday and athletic tasks, helping us identify where mobility, control, strength, or coordination may be falling short.
A whole-body view
Depending on your goals, we may examine squatting, bending, reaching, walking, balance, overhead movement, or sport-specific tasks. Tyner PT may incorporate principles from the Selective Functional Movement Assessment along with clinical examination and your individual history.
From findings to action
You will leave with a clearer understanding of what we found and a practical plan. That may include mobility work, strength exercises, changes to training load, movement practice, or a recommendation for physical therapy when symptoms need closer evaluation.
